SEURECO is a SME specialised in research and studies in quantitative economics and in particular in the establishment and the use of detailed macro sectoral models. In 2012, SEURECO (Société EURopéenne d’ECOnomie) became autonomous from the university team ERASME, which was created in a joint structure with the University of Paris-I and the École Centrale Paris. SEURECO continues to maintain important links with the academic world. Some members of the team are associate professors and the company continues to actively participate in research contracts performed within national and European university consortia. This allows us to introduce into the quantitative tools developed by the company, the results of scientific works, and thus to improve them as theoretical and empirical advances are made.
The work of the SEURECO is based on applied economic modelling, i.e. the theorisation, construction, implementation and analysis of the properties of applied macroeconomic models incorporating the most recent advances in economic theory.

The Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) was founded in 1992. Founded in 1992 and based at Purdue University, the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) supports a network of over 32,000 individuals engaged in quantitative analysis of 21st century challenges. A consortium of over 30 leading national, international, and private institutions provides baseline financial support and strategic advice. Guided by a philosophy of collaboration in data development combined with an open marketplace for ideas in analytics, GTAP aims to advance knowledge and facilitate deliberate decision-making.
The centerpiece of the Global Trade Analysis Project is a global data base describing bilateral trade patterns, production, environmental footprints, consumption and intermediate use of commodities and services. The Center also develops and maintains a suite of economic models, including the standard GTAP global computable general equilibrium (CGE) model, as well as various data and model extensions focusing on energy and emissions, circular economy, food and nutrition, land use, biofuels, migration, and detailed trade flows, among others.
GTAP-related analytics are a regular feature in the world’s most prestigious scientific journals and inform a vast array of decision-making processes by governments, international organizations, and private entities around the world.

The ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim is an economic research institute in the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Science Association (WGL).
The Research Unit “Environmental and Climate Economics” investigates the role that individual and collective human behaviour, markets and institutions play in the emergence and solution of environmental problems. We focus in particular on issues of climate change and sustainable energy supply.
As experts in assessing the economic impacts of climate and energy policies, we develop and design options for economic policy measures that are ecologically effective, economically efficient, socially balanced and viable.
Using an empirical and theory-based scientific approach, we work to understand cause-effect relationships. In doing so, we draw on methods of applied economic theory, econometrics as well as behavioural and experimental economic research.
